Nothing new ever really happens. Or at least when I don't think about it good enough. Listening to Metallica's cover of Whiskey In The Jar, originally by Thin Lizzy. Dad had it playing in the car on the way to skating and I am just addicted to it now.
Dad says most bands start off playing covers so Band, we should choose a few songs to cover and make a few songs (and make one out of Bri's poem).
How come when it rains, it only rains at night? I think it should rain during the day so we can actually appreciate it. But that's just me. I'm home like all day until 3.
Then I go to skating. This month was awesome because I didn't have piano so we just went skating instead. So that made it 5 days a week. Well, I don't skate on Wednesday really, but I go to jump class. I love that class so much. I'm working on my axel and doubles. I got the axel pretty good so now I just need to do it on ice. Its so hard on ice. I almost stabbed my leg when I was trying to land. Guess it's not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Gotta ask my coach to get me on the harness to try it. As for doubles, I haven't even tried on ice. I can't really get it off ice, so how would I do it on. Well, it might work if you have speed, but I doubt it.
Haha. I don't think anyone would really get all that unless you skate, or I showed you. lol.
I think Thursday after public and Wednesday after 6:30 is the time that the hot hockey players are there. Saw a kid from Sierra Verde that I used to know at the skating rink on Thursday. I've talked to some cute hockey players during public before so that was cool. And then there's the hottie whose name I don' t know. My goal is to figure it out. lol. But he works there, he reffs some hockey games (figured that out since I watch hockey games when I'm not skating), and plays hockey. I think he's like 16....more or less. So cute.
I wish I had play station 2. I think I'm the only person that doesn't. lol. But I want to get DDR so bad. Me and my sister are on it a lot after skating. So we're gonna try to save up for it, but I think I'm going to save up for my $400 and up new skates instead.
My sister had a competition at Alltel Ice Den on Friday. She got third out of 5. Not bad for a first time and only 5 weeks of practice (I think others had 3 months.) Public was going on on the other side and I really wanted to go on it but I left my stupid skates at home. I was so mad. And what made me madder was that Channel 3 was there on public too so I could have been on TV. And the anchor girl came over to me (when I was watching girls compete) and ask if I was wearing jeans earlier on the public side (I had tights and shorts on) and I said no. She told me she was looking for a blonde girl that was on the public side that was a figure skater and she was going to do something in front of the camera. That could have been me if I'd only brought my stupid skates (and wore jeans.lol). We saw her on the TV once we got home.
So I decided that anytime that I go to any skating place, for any reason, I am bringing my skates.
OMG!!!! I just heard a good show that's gonna he here (on the radio). Edgefest. I gotta go. Letter Kills and other good bands are going. Ah. Letter Kills CD came out today but I can't get it for a while cause my mom is tired of me spending my money on music. I've only got 4 this summer, I think. Wish I could buy like any CD's I want. I should become a radio DJ cause I think they get CD's for free.
Another cool band is Stutterfly. But I don't think their CD is in normal stores. Think you'd have to go to independent CD stores. Not sure where one is though.....
I love my guitar. Just thought I'd tell people. jklol. But really, I'm learning cool stuff. Led Zeppelin is harder than I thought though. but I'll get it soon.
Haha. for some reason, I'm in love with the Starbucks Double Shot commercial. It is so cheesy but I love it. I always sing along with it when it comes on!!!!!! jklol.
I have to go shopping again. Went to Desert Ridge with Maddie and Melanie the other day but I didn't really find anything. Got one shirt, but I want more. Gonna have to plan to go to Arrowhead or the Mills or somewhere soon. Need a new backpack to write on. I like the one I used last year, but its kinda dirty and I'm a little scared to wash it cause I think the ink that's already on it will smear. So I think that I might just get a new one.
I'm starting to get annoyed with the family. I need to get away every once in a while. Too much yelling and wasting my time talking about needing to have my chores done, blah blah blah. I think I am going to have to take a walk somewhere sometime. I'm sure you guys know what I mean.
Little more than 2 weeks left of summer vacation. Weird. Gotta enjoy all my free skating as much as I can.
