Man... Samurai High School is hysterical. This one is going to be my favourite this season, I can already tell. Miura Haruma is acing the samurai schtick like nobody's business -- I can still remember how last year I found him annoyingly all over the place and didn't like him at all, but now I'm really rather fond of him

Yeah! Someone else on my flist is watching Samurai High School. It has definitely become my guilty pleasure for the season.

It is so silly and OTT but extremely entertaining. I also find it easier to swallow the 'inspiration for kids' aspect of school-based dramas like these when it's being done in such a likeable, un-preachy manner. Samurai Spirit > Inspirational Teacher for moralizing IMO.

I TOTALLY thought so too!!! Haruma was freakin annoying appearing in dramas and movies here and there but then after this drama I was like "I LOVE THIS GUY"

and yah its like a total GTO/Gokusen type movie but atleast its differentish

Alone the 3 "evil" girls and the alway shaking buddy of him :P
Of course I totally like the probably soon to be girlfriend and her best friend too :P
Mimura does a good job as the library keeper too :P
And well about the guy .. well he does quite good this time ... apparently interesting what a change of hairstyle and makeup can do :P

i'm kind of glad this is the first time i'm really watching him because it's hilarious.

i like kotaro a thousand times better when he is possessed by the formally-speaking samurai. lmao.
