Working Girl
First day today. V. tired now because I didn't fall asleep until 1 and got up at 7:30. It was only 2.5 hours today of info, going over the contract and rules, and a little bit of training. On the street training tomorrow. Luckily tomorrow we're meeting 8 blocks away from my house, so I can sleep later. Apparently we meet at the spot we're going to be working, not the office, so I have to call the hotline every night to find out where to go the next day. I'm glad I just changed my phone plan to more evening minutes. Entertained myself on the bus realizing that I was passing two of my friends at work, one in an office and one in a store, so I mentally waved hi to them. I'm such a dork to admit it, but I think it's kinda cool that we were all work along the same bus route.
Elva came over tonight to watch Harold and Kumar because she has it and I've been meaning to see it for a long time. Some bits were great, but I always forget that movies really can be that gross. I'm not good with gross. But then we both felt a need for burgers so we went to White Spot because it's just up the road. Decided to have dessert before our burgers because afterwards we're always too full and got a funny look from our waiter. Then another waiter said we were the second pair of girls to do that this week, but he'd never seen anyone do it before, and one of the other girls said her grandmother always did it. I think that sounds wrong but I'm to sleepy to care. Bed now.
