Ten Years Ago...
I just moved to Vienna, Virginia from Toronto, Canada. Started second grade at Flint Hill elementary. People made fun of me because I was only six when I started second grade. Our family had that awesome, run down old house on Rocky Branch Pond (still live on the same street today.. just a different house).
Five Years Ago...
Moved from Warsaw, Poland back to Vienna, Virginia to the same street. Definitely one of the hardest years of my life. Breaking into eighth grade at Thoreau was not easy. I missed my friends in Poland a lot, but I rekindled my friendship with ANNIE (!!) and got to play in an actual band with ALL the instruments! I made a lot of really nice friends :) Mr. Sanger was a pretty cool guy.. I liked him at least. Ew that was the year of the election. The beginning of a horrible eight years for this country. sigh.
One Year Ago...
I was a senior at Madison!! It was definitely an awesome year. I miss all my friends soooo much. Being section leader with Burns rocked (I miss our band incredibly) Had lunch with the cool band seniors at lunch red days and Claire, natalie, Rachel and other sophies on black days. Lots of drama went down last year.. man. Ooo but Claire and I had that awesome birthday bash! Soo much fun. (I miss you SO MUCH GIRL) Our marching show was eh, but I really enjoyed everything! Football games, competitions, even practice wasn't bad at all. I met Max last year :) Levine! Concerts galore! Oh, but so much for senior year not being stressful.. I definitely had multiple break downs (due to evil spanish/french teacher, trig BLEH, god and who knows what else). Umm wow, so much happened last year, and most of it was awesome.
Yesterday...
Drove back with my friend Sarah from her home in Luray, picked up our other friends Jill and Lauren at JMU (Jill from Levine! If any of you in Levine remember her.. she's great. Played horn next to Kevin) We were all at POC on Saturday! It was soo cool! Chantilly and Hickory still kick ass. It made me miss Madison band a lotttt
