Plans for the next week
Starting Friday around noon, my Church's youth group will be working with a branch of Housing for the Homeless in one of the Townships. Though I'm not a member of the youth group, I've been invited. And I can't say no. Well, not without feeling extremely rude. It's okay, though. They'll sign for some of the community service hours I need for school next year, which is a big plus.
I'll be there from 9 a.m to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The youth group is only working the weekend, but I really want to start getting those service hours done. So, I'll be working the rest of the week, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., instead of all day. I can't miss Cheerios practices, after all.
Luckily, my social life has been pretty awesome this week.
-I saw Natalie when I got home Saturday, and we had a girly night that included pizza. I love her, she feeds me. Her grandmother was the sweetest thing, too. :)
-Monday, Rebecca and I had a skate date and she brought me rice krispie treats. I might possibly be a little in love with her. :D
-Today, Finn and I hung out at Blast-o-Rama. It was a little...awkward at first, but he's a really nice guy, and I think we had a good time.
-Tomorrow, I'm going for coffee with Miss Banner. She's pretty cool as far as adults and teachers go. Cool enough to agree to meeting with a student outside of school. It's gonna be fun.
-And my social life comes to a temporary end after Santana comes over Thursday, so I'm really hoping that goes well. I need a good time before all that hard work.
