We're just curious! it's time to think!:
Do you think calisthenics is a sport?: Of course calisthenics is a sport. But then again, calisthenics is an Art. The atr of making shapes and patterns with the body is surely a sport and also an art. Artists express themselves, yes? So do Calisthenics girls. Athletes work hard and train for their sport, so do Calisthenics girls.
What do you say to someone who looks at dancing as easy [the “I could do that” attitude] ? I used to get that alot performing at Variety Nights at school. They'd all laugh at me for getting up and doing calisthenics. They were all like "anyone could do that." I never saw one of them try. That's their way of trying not to look weak.
What do you tell yourself to get over that “I can’t do this” hump? There is always room for improvement. Do better.
Why do you dance?: Because it gives me a reason to live. A way to vent my frustrations and express my emotions. It's a way for me to be myself, fluently and proficiently.
What is your favorite part of calisthenics?: Everything. The comps, the makeup, the costumes. I LOVE it.
What is your least favorite part of calisthenics?: Learning clubs to counts.
Brag a little. What are some of your strongest points?: I'm flexible. That is all.
How did you start calisthenics?: My mum did it when she was a girl. My grandma did it when she was a girl. My great nanna did it when she was a girl... Go figure.
How did you hear about Calisthenics_? I created it :D
