i haven't posted much in a long time, but been keeping tabs on people who post in LJ i've had friended myself for awhile
anyways just to get some stuff clarified in case people i really haven't been in contact with much lately are wondering and bother to look at this.
I, Stephen Aho, am engaged to marry Erika Lamm, August 2, 2008, and we have most of our plans and stuff pretty well figured out. I'm not gonna send out of state invites out unless you actually feel like coming to Illinois on our date and stuff, in which case i'd be glad to. sorry i've been really bad about keeping up with adresses for people i used to be close with and haven't been great about keeping up with folks i used to be close with and still do care about in general. send email to calisrue@hotmail.com if you're interested in attending our marital event.
I just graduated may 17 from local community college with my associates degree of science in registered nursing. June 17 i'll be taking my state boards (NCLEX) to officially be licenced as an RN, wish me luck.
Last week i interviewed for a RN position where i've been working for the past year, Willowglen Academies, a special needs education/day training/community integrated living arrangement for clients with medical diagnoses of mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy and similar issues with co-diagnoses of behavioral or psychological disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, explosive disorder, borderline personality disorder, various somatoform disorders, and all kinds of flavors of clinical depression etc. I feel very optimistic about my chances in getting this RN position based on feedback from the different groups i've interviewed with and for some reason i don't get it, no big deal, i can find something elsewhere fairly fast.
