Thanksgiving, entry 2
Today I am thankful for the men and women who put their lives at risk to protect our country in the past, present, and future. Freyja, please protect my brother, who is in the Middle East again, for the umpteenth time. He is halfway around the world from his family, especially his new baby girl, and will be so for the coming year. May the pain of their separation be diminished by the anticipation of their reunion!
