Eric's First Day at School and the next 10 days......
Bad gma, bad gma, missed the call this noon before Eric left for school. Kindergarten is a snap for him and I feel he is more then ready to go to 1st grade and his mommy says that he is reading now and that is a plus...some kids go to first grade and can't read well. I think he will be able to do adding and subtracting too....he is always telling me that three of his fingers and 2 more are five!!!! Now isn't that a smart kid? I talked to him this afternoon after his first day at school and his mom said that all they did all day was play...he has the social part of schooling down pat after 2 years in preschool, now I think he wants to do some real work.
Counting the days for my trip to Az. Just 10 more days. Picking Cyndi up in Los Angles at LAX and moving on to Tucson from there. She hasn't seen her sisters in quite a while and are anxious to see them. My main thoughts this week and the next is to have the tires rotated on my van, have the oils changed and the water spots on it buffed out...it is so dirty right now. tuesday and wednesday are full of doctor's appts and at 1:11p will be at LAX to pick up Cyndi. will be happy to be in Tucson to see my grandkids and big kids again.
