I hate everything.

Ok, maybe not everything. But my current anger at Comcast seems to be leaking out a bit into everything else. Up until today, everyone I've talked to has been really nice and helpful. Actually, the guy who came out to fix my DVR today was also nice and helpful. Minor detail that he said no one really had to come out at all, because they really did it all remotely anyway. Why they couldn't have done that when I called yesterday, nobody knows. However, then I called about some things on my bill. Like the fact that I was charged $29.95 for my free installation kit. Because they handed it to me when they brought my cable box. $30 because they were coming out here anyway and gave it to me and I didn't pick it up from them. Maybe, *maybe* I would have been ok with that if I'd known. If they'd said, $100 for us to install it, $30 to install it yourself, I would have said, "Great!" But no, they said free. They lied. Worst of all, they didn't just change it since they said free. No, there's nothing they can do. I guess I should just be grateful that they credited me the $7.95 they were charging me this month for a service I did not request, nor have I been using, since I didn't even know I had it. Not to mention the fact that when they came to install, they were 10 minutes late, and I was told I would get a $20 credit if they were late. Of course, I was distracted by everything else and forgot to mention it and it's not worth calling back and being on hold and transfered to 4 people before being told there's nothing they can do about it anyway.
