(no subject)
The turns life takes amuses me.
There is now a slight change in plans for the drive home. It's now a follow-the-leader trip. Yes. Who is following me you ask? My good friend April. yay! She has been talking about moving to CA FOREVER! and yesterday she decided that if she doesn't do it now, she never will. She doesn't want to make the trip alone, so she is following me. Then Breanne, April and myself will rotate between the two cars. It will be nice to have some alone time on the trip.. then its less likely that breanne and i might want to kill each other after 40 hours in one car together.
This of course mean no Minneapolis or Mall Of America. April lives in Grand Rapids, so we are going to use that as our launching pad. Unfortunately I still have to drive to Alpena on Thursday night, so that adds 5 extra hours that next day.
April is going to move in with my family until we can both get on our feet. April, Breanne and I are looking for a 4 bedroom house/Apt. This is so that when Elyse moves out in September-ish it will be an easier transition. Breanne's family owns a 4 bedroom house in Ojai that they are looking to rent, looks like we will be the ones to take it!
I just have this feeling that because everything seems to be falling in place... Macy's will transfer me to San Francisco. haha.
Breanne and I are so excited to have April moving to Ojai. April spent time with us over Spring Break and she fit in with our group like she had always been there. It will be even more complete when Elyse makes the same jump. Its nice to have some non-Ojai people in the group.. it helps have non-nordhoff grads.. brings something new to the group.
