Day off fun and hassles!
So I went to the movies ( splurged and got a hotdog and soda, soda was typical watered down crap ) and really liked the 'challenges' of getting there and to the clinic but it only sucked when ppl wouldn't let me cross due to their turning. I then went to the bus station and got a ride to Target, where I walked through the parking lot to the light and crossed the street to Physician's Care. I was told the wait was going to be at least an hour and a half. I decided to go to the next parking lot ( Forest Plaza) and ate at Taco Bell but drivers weren't making it easy for me. Afterwards, I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to see if they had boot clips for my Mom ( they didn') but they had comforter sets on sale. I walked past the $80 ones, found the $39.99 ones and set my Mom the pics before going to PC since it'd been an hour.
I was walking past the last store when PC called and I said I might be 5 minutes and they responded they close in an hour and a half and patients are here waiting, so then I just didn't want to try to cross the street ( both cars can turn and also go straight) just for them to close before I get my Xrays ( my last recheck took 3 hrs of waiting) and so I decided to not go. On Monday, I will tell the big boss that I will go on my next day off and take a book, etc. I mean, I am not even going to be doing my old job for another month anyways. I am going to do my at home stuff for PT starting tonight and continue until I see PC and get the ok to continue too.
I then proceeded back to BBB to get my Mom the comforter set ( an early bday present) and caught the bus a half hour later. I found out from my Mom that a hose from our main water pipe broke ( we shut it off) and the neighbor's heater doesn't work now bc of it and we are waiting on Bill to come over....still a good NYE.
