I'll see in about an hour how my Mom did this time via the bus ride home....maybe she'll rethink the quitting part if the way home now is as stress less as the way there....I've never had to go on Alpine for anything so I didn't know that there's no designated bus stops and that she has to go to a street above or below the one she's on due to that one being 'unreachable' for the Alpine South..........Alpine just isn't that popular of a street/less businesses and restaurants there than other streets so that's why the wait is every hour instead of half hour-40 mins.( i.e. E. State St., Riverside, 7th St., and downtown)...
So the neighbors have officially moved out as of last night. They surprised by saying we can go up and see what we want of the stuff they just didn't want to pack...we now have 3 new glass plates, 2 big coffee mugs,4 drinking glasses,3 nightstands, a butcher block w/ 7 knifes and a special set of scissors, 1 cast iron small frying pan and a big pot, 1 lb of hamburger meat and a new AC( the Energy Star type:))....sucks that they also left trash and actual garbage, quite a few bags....
Today was productive, I went to the library for some stuff and then took the 7th st. bus to the pharmacy for my Mom....the bus to pick me was 30 mins after I got dropped off or I could wait and catch the one that came 30 mins after that 1. I decided on the latter since the grocery store was in that same parking lot and I don't have a problem bringing a few bags onto the bus...got some yummy Arby's frozen fries( taste like the restaurant esp if you add bit of oil while cooking), Macaroni Grill Shrimp Penne Pasta meal( 1st time trying it), Eggo waffles, and a couple packs of sweetbread rolls..........it snowed a little today and it was nice since the temp. was really bearable and all....I still came home and made myself a nice lunch of burgers and fries( my brother just wanted the fries).....I'll tell my Mom about how fast I got everything done via bus so that she knows her experience isn't common...I got the bus at the TC at 12:15, got to CVS/grocery by 12:40 and then caught the 1:40 bus back to the TC by 2:10 where I then got on my reg. bus at 2:15 and was home by 2:25.
This weekend should be fun..I am going w/my Mom to drop off our mutual friend in WI for surgery on Friday and then we are picking her up on Sunday.......mini roadtrip to new state:)....
EDIT:1/24/13,1:30 pm: Today wasn't as productive as yesterday merely b/c I'm not venturing outside as much as I did then but it was still productive in my mind hehe.....
I rearranged some stuff in the freezer so that my brother can add whatever he's getting during his 30 min. for the bus, called the temp place(going in next week for an on the spot interview), process of changing terms for NIU,and cleaned up used cat litter( thanks neighbors, for not putting your FIVE LARGE litterboxes filled to the top w/used litter in a trashbag but just putting them in the trashcan) that spilled over onto the sidewalk after the trashman came.........stupid Verizon screwed us over....our bill's not $150 total, it's $341! $70 was in surcharges though( 1 time fees and shit)...we're doing a payment plan and then hopefully I'll be able to contribute my usual $60 soon and then my Mom and brother can split the rest...
