Well...
My landlord has been back in town for about 2 weeks....and she fixed the broken dryer here ...but didn't charge ME the $30 in parts since she's 'pretty sure' her houseguests overloaded the dryer....now that to me is still her accusing me of possibly breaking it...even tho in 2 years, the dryer had never had any issues...so I guess one day 2 wks ago, I just said fuck it and decided to do double my normal drying load?
Told my Mom and Aunt how this then led to my landlord instituting dryer rules of only 2 towels or 2 jeans a load, can wash blankets but take em to the laundrymat or hang up on the one retractable line she put up. Both of them said she couldn't have charged me anyways bc 1 it's her property/machine, she has to have it functioning and 2 she has to give me the option to Refuse and say well then don't fix it if I have to pay for the repair...also start hanging up towels too now she said..told them this is making me rethink the roommate situation, which for a while I was considering all the $ I would be saving, etc....today, I might have found a cute rental! I emailed the lister and hopefully he/she gets back to me soon....I could see even paying Sept to slowly move out by October OR just paying a week's rent here...and moving out in early Sept...Hopefully the new place can fit everything...and can have a microwave and includes utilities...
