Couple crappy days....
Yeah, I was told at 8 the other night at the gym that I was to MOP both bathrooms ( including the sauna, the locker room area AND the showers) at 10 when 'everyone leaves', I was previously told we could NOT get those floors wet due to the material of the floor, but again, guess it was wrong)....I was PO'd because it was going to take maybe a half hour to do just 1, let alone 2 and I didn't like finding out that cleaners DON'T get keys to the gym, just the Front Desk ppl do, so whoever is Closing...has to wait til I get done...I did some stuff fast, had to do the Kids area again for the 2nd night in a row due to the same kids pouring out their drinks onto the floor...like literally dumping it and running w/the empty cup, etc...was able to do both backroom mat areas since class ends an hour earlier than I was told....
Finally at 9:58, I get told by the FD girl that I have to do both bathroom areas by 10 fucking 20 as texted to her by our Manager! I ended up going really fast, not checking to see if hair was actually getting swept up in the mop or not, didn't change out the water AND didn't do the men's trash & punched out at 10:33....they better not want this once a week... can't keep up the pace & next time, will do trash, change the water and go at my normal pace..woke up SORE the next day ( had Achilles issues the night before, dk if my workout earlier had any effect on that or not), did recycling but instead of swinging back to grab my cart & head up to the big box store, stayed, had lunch as I finished The Bear AND then went, later had two dinners too...
Today at the pizza place ( after I mopped my apt floors), punched in and saw by my Start time, a big red frowny face and saw my Start time was at 10 ( hour early) vs what it has been for 2-3 months now of 11...like I don't even need to look at the schedule, etc...so I explained that to both Managers on shift & to the SM, all of whom understood. Then I had issues later w/some chick for some reason having me do Sauce Cups ( telling me to do it vs a Manager) but then wanting me to stop trying to get the 8 tubs done by calling for a Runner, to which I didn't go cuz a lot of times I get up there just to be told someone else took the order & plus, I wanted to see how much of the 8 I could get done in my 2 hour time span before my shift ended....I did 6...got home in time for sprinkles...that chick is going to the new store so it wasn't worth trying to defend my side... haven't seen the Operations lady or the owner come in for the last 2 wks of my days there, except for the fainting girl, the OL showed up...the fainting girl DOES still work here ( I was told she quit), she comes back Monday..
Skipping my Walmart plans to do my clothes laundry and then hopefully eat at HBJ and get some stuff at Daiso here...a Swiffer duster knock off for $1.75? A bicycle rain cover and a mini broom/dustpan set at those same prices or at least under $3 each I hope ( dk til get up to register!)...
