[ ain't nothin like these summer nights ]
it's really annoying having sent out my applications and just sitting here... waiting.. poised for an answer. i applied to san francisco and to the fashion institute in new york, and if i get into both i really couldn't tell you which one i'd decide upon. when i talk to my friends in san francisco (or watch laguna beach and see stephen haha), i wanna be there... when i read posts from people in nyc or talk to or think of julia, marianna, and des, i wanna be there. i guess either way i'll inevitably end up being happy with the choice i make... *cross my fingers*
speaking of happiness...i'm so content and at ease with things right now, and it's been months since i've felt that way. it's such a nice, nice feeling. i've been hanging out with a bunch of different friends...old and new... and alot of the stress and disappointment that i've felt since april has been alleviated. jacquie k, trevor, jackie, brandon and some others have really been an eye-opener to me. :)
also, i really like my new jobs... i've been working on-set at cbs studios with an occassional visit to some other studios around town, and the people i've been meeting there have been AWESOME. not to mention the beautiful boys :) also, working with jacquie has been a blast so far...its more like we're hanging out and having fun! that could be due to the fact that we're doing fashion designing and frequenting neiman's and barney's, but hey!
last night was funnn...i went down to usc again to see neda and her roomies... got dinner, hung out for a while, made fun of people with whitney hahah. then i met up with trevor, mikey, and some of mikey's friends from usc at the grove. (i've become totally disenchanted with meeting sc'ers...most of them (not all, but most) are pretty lame-o.) i stranded mike in cheesecake with julio...we saw a movie...lol the night was eventful! (the 40 year old virgin is hilarious. its such a brilliant comedy...i totally recommend!)
bobby's good-bye party made me really sad... i saw everyoneee from school, and it made me really think about how this time last year we were so pumped to be seniors... and then to actually hug bobby goodbye--it was a weirddd feeling! i mean, the furthest any of my good friends from bh are going to school is like...downtown...so i guess i'm really lucky to not have had to deal with that many goodbyes. stacy went to utah, stef went to oc, but i'm not used to seeing them all the time anyways. des went to new york, but i'll be seeing her soon (new years hopefully in nyc). natalie went to rhode island, but again, i'm not used to seeing her everyday either. i'm just so used to being the one that moves away that saying goodbye to a friend bc he was leaving was a strange thing.
wow...this is a long entry for me lately! i hope everyone's doing well and enjoying the last days of summer (or first days of the college-life!!)
