I dreamed...
The last four nights, I have dreamed. Things were different, you weren't hiding, we both spoke our minds without fear. Unfortunately, I don't remember, completely, those dreams.
But this morning, just before I woke, you whispered in my ear. "I miss you, green eyes."
If it wasn't you, I don't know who it could have been.
But please know...I miss you, too. To the depths of my soul.
Because you claimed me. Even though you don't remember it, the imprint of your mouth is still on my neck.
And I was too...afraid, I suppose...to claim you back. We were in the kitchen...
I love you. I miss you. And yeah, I should be there, with you. Loving you, scolding you, encouraging you. But I have to do it from a distance, and...it hurts.
