I've been naming these journals after episodes to the HBO show "Six Feet Under" which I LOVE. So I'm probably gonna start including info about the show/episode... on some of the episodes. If you don't like them, just skip to below the separating line and jump cuts.

So, the last two days have been.... well, sleepless nights are the only true description.
Last night/this morning, my apartment complex decided to test the fire alarm system, which resulted in the smoke detectors going off in my apartment, as well as the noise system which alerts tenants of a fire. IT'S FUCKING LOUD AS FUCK. Woke me up from a dead sleep. As I was orienting myself into what the fuck was happening, it turned off. I then could hear the others going off in other buildings, and I realized what was going on.
Of course, it's too loud at this point to go back to sleep.
Hence my headache.
I put in some earplugs to drown out the noise, which helped until they started testing my building a second time.
Did I mention that these things are LOUD??
I took a nap around 1, for about 4 hours, because I had a splitting headache.
And of course I feel groggy now because I wasted the whole effing day.
NOT happy.
I have a lot to do tonight, so I'm writing this now instead of later.
Sometimes being an adult sucks.
