No Subject.
Never in my life have I been so thankful for the unforeseen blessings that may come my way. And for the first time in a long time, I finally can say that there is some good things coming my way.
I'm writing this pretty quickly because I'm going out of town today until Wednesday. I had planned to update on Thursday, but it looks like I'll be busy on Thursday as well. So, quick entry now.
Called Dad yesterday for Father's Day. He seemed GREATLY surprised that I called, and that I was his morning wake-up. He seemed really receptive and appreciative of it. I think, considering everything that's going on, that he was surprised. I think he knows I'm not happy with moving to California, but at the same time, he IS my Dad. And he's the reason why I am where I am today, with his support.
During that phone call, I talked to my step-mom. Told me to check my mail, where there was a GREAT surprise waiting for me, hence why I am leaving today for a few days. Otherwise, I'd be wallowing in my sorrows, or having sex with someone. Mind you, the latter can still happen, but whatever. : )
Going to spend today with a friend for his birthday. Tomorrow, hanging out with at least one friend of mine, and going to see another family. Wednesday is unknown, but I'll figure it out. Next week, I'm going to Charleston for a pre-July 4th / early birthday celebration with a friend of mine, and I have to say I'm really looking forward to it. On top of that, I may be going to Atlanta this weekend to see TWO friends of mine. That is still up in the air though.
I'm just REALLY excited about everything that's ahead of me. I can ONLY hope that everything works out in my favor. I'm entering a really exciting stretch for me. And I promise, I'm GOING to enjoy the rest of my time here.
