There is some SERIOUS Fail.

So I didn't update yesterday, mostly because I wasn't really around much.

That morning I was helping out with Service Award auditions at Foy. It was fun, I met some cool people. Met one guy who's coming in that is an IT major like me, and will be living somewhere around Cambridge, like me! Name's Patrick, seems like a cool guy. We were on the 2nd floor talking about switches and networking equipment before his audition. Chances are unless I see him around once he gets here, I'll probably never talk to him again. But hey, I met someone new, and that's awesome enough. : )

Come to think of it, I talked to a lot of people. There was a family there from Warner Robins, and I spent time talking to them about Marching Band and dorm choice / memories. There were 2 guys upstairs -- both engineering majors -- and I just kinda talked to them about campus life. And there was this guy who played Trumpet who seemed really cool. All-in-all, it was a neat way to spend part of my day.

Some friends came over later in the day.
That didn't go over so well.
The beginning of the night was pretty cool. We sat and chilled, drank some. But after the first couple of hours, it just kinda got killed. First off, the plan was to play Apples to Apples and have some fun. That never happened. The whole time, my PS2 was being played, and when I broached the subject of turning it off, I got the whole "you guys can play, I wanna play this." Mind you, it's my PS2 and I should be able to dictate whether it's used or not, but whatever.
The fun-lifting atmosphere was just KILLED. Frustration rose to the surface when the friend playing the PS2 wasn't winning like he "should've been." So we sat around and watched pretty much while he got more and more aggravated, then watched as he threw my controller on the ground. : /
Yeah, that made me feel amazing.

I tried to keep upbeat but it was just hard. People started getting tired, Apples to Apples was never pulled out. Basically, I might have had more fun alone.

Oh well, Day 2 of my Spring Break is upon us. Hopefully all will go well today. I'm gonna work on cleaning my apartment top to bottom -- and side to side -- over the break. Spring Cleaning if you will. Gotta get ready to move into my new apartment in August. : )

Until tomorrow!
Take care.
