Rain rain go the fuck away
Let me just say that I hate rain.
I have always hated rain, ever since I was a little kid. Probably because I'm a wussy girl and hated getting wet, but moreso because it makes me so damn uncomfortable. I don't know about everyone else, but when I put clothes on in the morning, I don't plan on soaking them through and then continuing to wear them for hours.
This is what Geneseo does to me, and has been doing to me, about 85% of the time I've been here.
Since there is no parking anywhere remotely near any of my classes and I live on Southside, which happens to also be not remotely near my classes, I have to trudge to class in the rain. You might ask, "well, silly, that's what umbrellas are for, why don't you use one?"
Oh, I have that base covered, too. I do, in fact have an umbrella. It happens to be a very small, children's umbrella since that's all that Wegmans sold for a decent amount of money. So, it doesn't do a very good job of keeping the rain out of my school bag and my pants. Also, since I happen to be just over 5 feet tall, all of my pants drag on the ground. You can imagine how this might turn out.
So, in conclusion, I really hate rain, with a passion. Yes, making out in the rain is romantic and cute, but walking to class in it is not. So, for the time being, the rain can get the fuck out of my life. Thanks.
P.S. And did I mention that it is thundering and lightning today? GREAT!
