I need a job
Although the husband has gracefully allowed me to mooch off of him for the year while I go to school, I'm starting to have reservations. My mental checklist of items I want to purchase is so long and expensive, I'm seriously considering some amount of part-time employment to cover some of this stuff. As I won't be using any money I make, for the time being, for anything compulsory, I can safely fritter away my paycheck on all the crap I want...nay, need....dammit.
Just so you know what I mean, here's some of the stuff I'm after:
Large dragon woodbaby - approx. $190 (Must. Have. Now. www.fantasypuppet.com)
Medieval style boots - depends on where I get them, but sure to be over $100 at least. I cannot go around faire wearing work boots.
House M.D. boxsets - seasons 1 & 2 together are about $84, not including shipping
Discworld novels - Yeah, they're only about 6 or 7 bucks each, but as there's over 30 of them, it'll add up.
FAKE Mangas - Mmmmm....yaoiness. ::cough:: 6 @ about $10
Music - this is a list in itself, but I'm terribly behind on all the new albums. Static-X, Three Days Grace, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, Mudvayne, System of a Down, Billy Talent, Killswitch Engage....you get the idea.
CafePress shtuff - Nothing specific here, but have been drooling over several buttons and shirts that will declare my slash fangirliness.
Oh, gosh, and I'm sure there's more too. Not to mention the random wads of cash I'm sure to spend at Faire. *headdesk* I need more money.
