Ripley got us a kitten. (He's my guardian now, did you hear? I think we might be the only guardian-ward pair in Chicago who hasn't gotten in trouble, other than that fear gas the other day.)
I'm doing well. Really well, actually. Ariel's going to set me up with a job in the hotel, and I have a place to stay. Once I have ID, I want to work on getting a little bookshop to run. I miss my shop.
I have to say, though, that I miss... well, how it used to be. Before people were falling through left and right, and it was just me and Martha and Brando and a handful of other wanderers and angels. We were a family, then. We're not so much anymore. Too spread out and too many and... I don't know, I'm just babbling at this point.
Nice. Almost thought you were talking about me for a second. I get confused when people mention kittens.
Sorry to hear you were around for the fear gas. Lucky enough to avoid it myself.
Sounds like a plan. The whole bookshop deal. If you need any help with it, I mean, always glad to help a member of the family.
...yeah, I miss it, too. A whole lot. Everything changes though, yeah? Eventually. Just wish it'd change for the better, stead of throwin' me back where I started 'fore this whole mess began.
I think I met you, once or twice. How are you?

And if I get my shop, I've always got a spot open for you to earn a little money and help out. :)
