Darn you writing folder

I hate, hate, hate it when I find things I wrote two-, three-, nine months ago and just cut off in the middle of writing. Ultimate cliff hanger! Luckily I have the outline somewhere in my plethora of notebooks in the attic... it's just a matter of finding them.

Oh well, at least it inspires me to write. It helps I finished my creative writing ( Read more... )

Same here, my desk is overflowing with papers full of random FF snippets and whatnot. I really don't know how many notebooks I have filled already...

Oh, three days and counting, huh? ^-^ Hang in there!

I used to write a lot of Harry Potter fanfiction too, that's always fun finding the ones I wrote as I was waiting for the books to come out.

And painful. Because WHEW. The amount of adverbs and grammatical errors I used to do is embarrassing, haha. In fact for this writing class I took a Spirited Away and a Game of Thrones fanfic I had written in and re-wrote it slightly so it could be considered an 'original' fic.

Oh how I giggled when we reviewed them. Better than FF.net!

I have tons of notes jotted down for many fandoms, HP included. And all the mistakes I made make me cringe today as well...

Will you post those, in the not-original version? I love both the anime/tv series - and the books, in the case of GoT!

Sure! Actually the part of the story I wrote was a 'gift-fic' I wrote for my sister for her Game of Thrones fic I beta'd and consulted on for her!

You will want to read her fic first
Never Too Late

My gift fic I wrote takes place during Chapter 10:
Just A Little Too Late

Those are our Harry Potter and GoT FF.net names. I mainly co-author with my sister now in those fandoms. Most of the stuff under my FF.Net account there is back when I was in high school. It's grim stuff ;) Hers has our more recent ventures and definitely worth a browse if you are interested in any of our fandoms!

Thank's for the links, I'll venture over and read as soon as I can - I'm just a bit busy with writing myself at the moment.
