What an interesting looking book that I've never heard of. Thanks for posting about it! I'll be adding it to my wish list :)

It just came out, and I managed to notice it on the shelves. Let me know what you think of it when you get your hands on it! :)

Danke schonn. I moved to Boston (really, Dorchester) from Florida recently; I've been meaning to pick up books set in both locations. Tim Dorsey is my go-to guy for Florida (he's in the wacky, Carl Hiaasen, Weird Florida genre, but wacked out enough to press my "Speculative fiction" button); now I have someone to pick up for Boston.

Just surfed in to this review from your end-of-year list. I read this just a few weeks ago and just have to say, as a 15-year resident of Boston, she NAILED it. And the "place of the curse" as Fenway Park? Made me laugh out loud! I will definitely be picking up the sequel, which is out very soon.

Glad to hear how it holds up to a resident! I'm not sure if I'm into it enough to pick up the sequel. Let me know how you like it when it comes out though, it'll help hearing some feedback. :)
