Sadly, I had many an issue with it. :( But he does offers some good advice in the course of the book, but I think Pressfield values his opinion a wee bit too highly, to say the least. :)
I'm not sure I would call what I read sentimental in any way, but then again, I tend to not use words properly, which isn't a good thing for a writer. :)
Heh! That was me being ambiguous. I meant to say that _War of Art_ piles on the sentimentality. Your review seemed pretty no-nonsense.
Re: misuse of words, you're in good company. I tend to shuffle definitions around. Like I think "brevity" sounds prettier than "gravity" so I'll substitute it sometimes. "The brevity of this situation calls for a summit meeting!" See, doesn't that sound better?
