Head's Up

I'm putting aside Michael Flynn's The Wreck of the River of Stars for the time being. I didn't expect it to be a super-fast read, but I also didn't expect to find myself slogging through it either. That sucker's going to take me at least a month, and I don't have that time right now.

Why? Because I've got a teaching module to prepare for my masters, and a stack of books I need to read in order to prepare for that teaching module. My topic is Writer's Block/Procrastination, which means in the next couple of weeks, you're going to see a LOT of reviews on the topic. The only thing I can do is apologize, and say that I'll try to stick in a work of fiction in here and there, something super-fast and fun, most likely urban fantasy and/or YA, because I'm probably going to need a break from my own topic too.

The writer's block/procrastination reading frenzy will probably last through May, and with any luck, I can return to my regular, random reading schedule in June.

Thanks for your patience, and if you're a writer, maybe you'll find these upcoming reviews interesting. If you aren't, sit tight. :)
