Sounds very interesting. I'll put in on my TBR and my list of potential book buys for my Dad, who's impossible to buy for but is interested in polar expeditions.

It's a pity Krakauer and LeGuin aren't actually contributers, though.

I know. Fortunately, I didn't get the book hoping for something by these two, but it would've made for some great reading.
