Last week was a weird one, reading-wise. I bring you a Star Wars/Mount TBR read that would've been a DNF if it hadn't been an SW book, as well as my reward for getting through it, Carrie Vaughn's latest Kitty novel!

More Rick is always good. More Kitty is even better. I didn't care too much for the trip to San Francisco, but I'm also looking forward to reading more of her books.

Kitty's Big Trouble? Yeah, I read that and started wishing Vaughn would wrap up the series, stat. :-/

Honestly, the only reason I kept reading after Big Trouble was that Carrie is an acquaintance, and we have several very good mutual friends, and I'd been an outspoken fan of the series in the past and, haha, didn't want "yeah, so... it started to suck" to get back to her. I'm so glad the series found its feet again.

I was actually in Denver for the weekend when I read this one - that was fun.

That does sound like fun. Kind of reminds me, in a way, of my reading Ben Aaronovitch's Midnight Riot... book set in London, and I was watching the London Olympics while reading. :)

Have you read Kitty's Greatest Hits? Rick's origin story is in that collection!
