I worry that he probably doesn't fit on this poll, but oh well. :) That's what we're reading! :)

I'm trying to finish Graveminder today so I can join the discussion later--I don't know about you, but I'm having some trouble getting through it.

I love the premise, but I'm having one of those "The Story I Want to Read Isn't the One the Author Wants to Tell Me" crises.

Heh. Don't worry, I won't blame you for not finishing. :)

I am very glad you do the weekly round up posts, that is how I have found out about most of the most recent book club stuff. :( Not sure why your posts move off my friends page so quickly...you must post them in the evenings or something.

My posts usually go up in the evenings or afternoons. I'm on the Eastern Standard Time Zone, so maybe that plays into it too. But I should ask: if you're checking your friends list, how far does LJ let you page back? Or how often do you check your friends list? Depending on how many friends you have, and depending on how often you check it, that may play a role as to why you can't see certain posts. However, you can always go to my profile, click on track user, and get my posts sent to you via LJ's messaging system, so that you can determine when you're alerted to my posts.

IF that's an issue, and you don't want to miss anything, of course. :)

I read this last year and ended up being disappointed. Sure, there were some very funny moments and I loved the culture references, but overall it fell flat; I just didn't get it. I'm looking forward to the discussion. Perhaps I can get more insight when I read what others think about it.

Thanks for your review! You may need to remind me of it when I post the discussion, because right now, I don't want to spoil myself what-so-ever for the book. :)
