Thank you again. :) battle_of_one November 6 2006, 00:33:06 UTC
Not only for reading the books but taking the time to really think of them and then taking the effort to post your thoughts. I welcome constructive criticism as much as the kudos, in all honesty, especially from fellow writers. I know people might say that but I do mean it; I wouldn't write to be published if I didn't have some stake in what people think (even if what people ultimately think is not the defining factor of what I do and how I do it).

I had a 4th book planned in this series that, it seems, would totally surprise readers. I actually have 8 books planned in order to get the full view of things (a solid 8, I'm not one of those writers that wants to extend an idea for the sake of extending it), but if they ever get written, much less published, is up to my publisher and you readers. So raise your voice loudly, I would greatly appreciate it, and maybe one day there will be that #4. (I am working on a 4th but it's not in this universe).

Kudos to YOU, I will always be grateful for the support. :D

8 books total in the Warchild universe? That's...FIVE to pray for and look forward to! :) I might die of glee. :)

You're very welcome, by the way. I've always felt that it's important to talk about the things you care about, because that's going to get peoples' attention, and also it's all about spreading positive vibes. I've been wanting to post reviews of these books on Amazon, but haven't yet figured out how to do so without gushing like an idiot. :)

I do hope your publisher allows you to continue this series. It's too rich to let go, but I'm glad that you've written it the way you have so far, with each story able to stand on its own two feet. In this universe or not, I look forward to whatever you throw at us, though. :) And I definitely plan to continue to pimp your work. ;)

I do too. She definitely has more stories in mind, but it's a case of whether or not she's contracted to publish them. I'll tell you one thing though: if these books are ever re-released, I'm buying them just so Lowachee can have the sales!

The author actually told me about how horrible the formatting was not too long ago. You know what's so batty? The physical copy of the book DOESN'T have those mistakes. So this definitely isn't on the author, but rather the publisher, and I'd love to know what they were thinking when they did the conversion to Kindle.

In fact, without giving the book a negative review (which I never think is wholly fair based on the format), I wonder if there's a way to complain to Amazon...
