As someone who has small hands (albeit longish alien fingers, according to my brother), I appreciate the rating on this one!

And, as much as I want to read this one, I think I'll take that advice and wait for the paperback. My wrists couldn't handle The Way of Kings for very long and setting the book in my lap or on a table wasn't always doable.

Yeah, this one is better suited for a paperback or even better, an e-reader!

That is also a very viable option. :)

I read it on an ereader (well, technically an iPhone) and I don't think I could have managed the full sized book. It made it much easier.

Rocalisa, how easy is it to read eBooks on your iPhone? I have an iPod (so pretty much the same size screen, I think), and wonder if it's worth it to install a reader app...

Personally, I find it very easy. But others look at the screen and screech in horror. So I'd suggest trying it. Install some software, try a free book and see what you think.

I use Stanza and read DRM-freed epubs on that. It will also read other formats. Bluefire reader is also meant to be pretty good and it reads DRM-secured epubs.

Feel free to contact me about it if you wish.

Thank you for the encouragement! Just downloaded the free Kindle app for the iPhone, and tried reading a free book. Pleasantly surprised at how painless it was :-)

I've never had much luck reading e-books (I have a more difficult time connecting with the book). I think there has only been one I've managed to finish and it took me longer than usual. I prefer print copies. :)

But I can see where e-books would become useful for larger books!

Which ereader did you try, or were you reading on your computer?

Because I'm not kidding: reading on a Nook is NOTHING LIKE reading on a computer. After the new year and I get all the year-end related posts out of the way, I'll be posting a Kindle review. :)

I've tried my computer, iPhone/iPod, iPad, and Kindle. I really just don't like using e-readers. I like the feel of paper. ;)

Looking forward to the Kindle review, though!
