I really think it is. Others may disagree with me, but these are the stakes I'm looking for, you know? Of course, I'm sure other authors have done it BETTER, but I like what I have here. :)

I skipped to the rating part because I am interested in avoiding spoilers for the moment, but you intrigue me. YA romance triangle done well? Does such a thing exist anymore? :p

Yes...I think I want to give this one a try after all. After having one too many unimpressive experiences with YA romance lately, I beginning to disengage myself from even considering Matched until I could get some distance from the genre, but I am interested now. Again.

Yeah I think we have similar tastes. Just the love triangle being different is a big bonus.

(I wasn't crazy about the love triangle in Hunger Games)
