I'm posting this with my eyes averted because I saw the book in the bookstore and squeed, then decided I couldn't justify paying $23 for it and I'd wait til it's out in paperback. But I LOVED the first one so very much and I have high hopes for enjoying the second as well.

I'm glad to read the non-spoilery bit that it's worth the cash! Yay!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on that book! Especially since you, like me, are tired of the typical UF.

And I prefer Stark so much more to Harry Dresden...

I'm going to try downloading the free e-book of the first in the series onto my phone. Maybe it'll be the second e-book I read successfully? ;)

SInce I am not a B&N fan, I checked and the free e-book (the version with extra content) is available via iBooks and the Borders e-book app.

I didn't check the Kindle app, but maybe someone who has that can check for me...?
