Get Some Sleep
Y'all, I'm exhausted. Friday and Saturday nights I stayed up until 1:00 am reading while my hubby played video games, and Sunday, when I needed to get to bed at a decent hour to get up the next morning for work, I couldn't. So I'm pretty well zonked out and incoherent, so you're not going to get a long, thought-provoking column today. Don't worry, I'm leaving you with a fun question and plenty of reviews to look forward to, okay?
The question:
What's the last book you simply could NOT PUT DOWN, even though you were reading into the wee hours of the morning and you knew you'd be a zombie the next day if you didn't get any sleep?
Mine?
In the Woods by Tana French.
What's more is that when I did go to bed, I kept dreaming about the book even though I was finally finished with it! That's what I call a haunting ending, when it lingers like that. :)

2010 Reading Total: 20 out of 50 (once I hit 50, I'll move that number up to 75).
2010 Comics Total: 92 out of 365. #93 would be tonight, but the hubby has given me a graphic novel instead. That's okay though, since I'm VERY much ahead of my year-to-date comic total!Poll Time!
This one is short and simple: while brainstorming themes for the book club, I've thought about a couple of "cheats." One theme would be books for a single author (example: Neil Gaiman, Ursula K. Le Guin, Brandon Sanderson, etc) and another idea for a theme would be titles from a specific press (Pyr Books, Small Beer Pres, etc). The idea, author-wise, would be to find an author who had enough titles that weren't simply numbers in a series (which would make Neil Gaiman a great choice but not, say, Carrie Vaughn). And press-wise, well, it just might introduce you to new titles! :) But it's up to you to tell me if these theme ideas interest you or not, so if you participate in the book club (or really want to), please vote below! Also, give me your theme/author suggestions in the comments below!
