Book Club: Request for Reminders
Last month, I added a reminder for people to read War for the Oaks at the bottom of my book reviews, and at the time, I thought perhaps I should only post those reminders on reviews at the beginning of the week, so that not EVERY book review was reminding you. Why? Well, when I get on a reading kick, I can post a review a day. A reminder a day would get annoying. :)
So with that in mind, I planned on posting my Frankenstein reminders at the start of the week at the bottom of whatever review I'm posting at the time. The problem with that? October's been a slower reading month, and my reviews are coinciding with when I think reminders should happen.
And then it occurs to me that perhaps sticking the reminders at the bottom of review posts isn't the smartest idea after all, so I thought, "Why not create a dedicated reminder post and put it up at the start of each week?" I know this will probably annoy those of you not participating, but it's a good visual reminder for those who are. So, as with anything around here, let's vote!
