Poll: Monthly Book Challenges

Last week, I got a crazy idea. You've noticed reviews in the past where I talk about reading challenges with various friends of mine (emerald_ibis and digitalclone). Reading challenges, or even dares, are a fun thing to do, and it occurred to me if I wanted to give all of you something REALLY interactive, why not have a reading challenge/dare/book club at calico_reactionI've thought ( Read more... )

I voted, though I won't be able to participate for some time given the new reading courses at SHU for the MFA...

But if I could, I'd like option 2, though option 1 would be fine as well.

One thing about it, you could always suggest books on your reading list if they fit a theme, whether you've read them yet or not. :)

I voted other because there isn't an "I like both options" option. :-)

That said, if you go with #2, I'd be happy to pitch in with the title brainstorming; creating recommended booklists is part of what I do for a living, so I have a lot of resources at hand and I enjoy it.

I'd also like a mix of both. Like, maybe switch off, or have two polls or something. That being said, I'd be happy with either of them.

I chose option one so that I could vote for a book I think I'd like beforehand by peering at your review rating :P I also peek at endings, sue me.
