I have the third book, (it's not in front of me, it's late, and I can't remember the name) which I am going to read as soon as I'm done with My Lover's Lover and The Devil You Know (which has temporarily disappeared, as some of my books do from time to time). Nice review, very objective sounding. Thanks.

I had a lot of the same issues you had while reading this.

I liked this one more than book 3 but not nearly as much as books 1 and 2. That said, I still had some of the same issues you did. I hated the fact that it seemed like all of a sudden Cat and Bones weren't talking about stuff. It seemed so v. Twilight it wasn't funny (or that good for that point). And I am so not happy about mom being a vampire.

At least the mom becoming a vampire made sense in context of the plot, and it has some consequences. I'm very curious to see how that'll turn out. :)
