Well, I didn't get to do the things I wanted to do on my break, because...y'know...stuff. I have had several calls re work, plus a letter on my NHS app that tells me I will be having a pacemaker.

Yesterday, I went for a drive to clear my head, because...y'know...too much was in it. Ended up at random church where in the porch window, there was a bit of brick, with a piece of local map glued to it, bound with a sprig of lavender.

I found some more interesting niche art places dotted around one of our more distant-but-still-local towns. There is a certain amount of joy seeing creative vibes pouring out of faded, jaded, nay clapped-out former industrial towns. It's very easy for a place to get overrun with cheap jack Tat-For-A-Pound emporiums, not to mention vape/betting/charity shops (which, of course have their place *within* the retail section of the community, but are now pervading it. They have become the Japanese knotweed of once-thriving towns).

Tomorrow, I'm in da house laundering my summer clothes ready to pack away for another 8 months. Plus, its time to break out the henna before I return to the Mouse House sector on Monday.
