I have been amazed at the outpouring of respect and admiration for him. In a world that is bedazzled by z-list stardom, it was really good to see the tributes :-)

I'm fine! I've been migrating my blog to Dreamwidth and WordPress. I also have a Tumblr presence now.
I'm working p/t at the university, and writing up my conference paper from the Historical Fictions Research Network into a properly referenced form.
