(no subject)
so that's not much of a life update, is it? all else is well. My roommates have done some sort of flip flop thing and now one that never annoyed me before annoys the crap out of me and one that used to annoy me doesn't annoy me that much anymore. Shahrzad is going insane with her thesis, so I don't get to see her that much. Colleen is going insane with her boyfriend, so I don't get to see HER that much. However, I have been seeing somewhat more of my favorite architect... He's freakin' crazy. We went out to a fancy restaraunt alone together for dinner for his birthday and I got all dressed up. When did I start doing such grown up stuff? So that covers academics, friends, roommates, love life... what more do you want to know? Health? I think I am losing some weight. Better.
Ugggggg. how am i ever going to go back to america and no one will understand how i talk?!?!?!? I'm crippled! There are certain things that I have to say and I don't know how to say them in English, I only know how to say them in Italian! What am I going to do? How will I express myself?!
Collen and Amanda are having a conversation about Andrea and what to get him for his birthday.
Amanda's phone rings 1x and then the person on the other end hangs up
Amanda (looking for phone in purse): Dammit, that's Piero, he's the only one who does that one-ring thing.
Colleen: No, it's nice. It's just a nice little "i'm thinking of you" without having to talk
Amanda: It irritates me because my phone always startles me, then gets my hopes up for a conversation and... oh, it wasn't Piero, it was Elton.
Colleen: You're going to miss all this male attention when you go home, aren't you?
Amanda: What?
