You Are Absinthe!

You have a unique personality. Although most like you, sometimes you take some getting used to. You can be a bit strong. You are full of energy and sometimes flamboyant. You are the life of the party but if people are not careful you can knock them on their ass.
What Naughty My Little Pony Are You?

ok, so i haven't updated in a gazillion years. i should have, a ton has happened. now i don't know if i can sit down and remember it all. ok, so here's a general list. the past month or two have included:

--a couple awesome parties (i love kyle. i love kyle answering the door for the police in his underwear more.)
--a very serious sickness (think fever and inability to move) that coincided perfectly with my meeting with the italian honorary consulate AND having to pack up all my belongings all by myself and somehow get them to ct
--grades were not as good as before, but still good enough to satisfy my (usually pretty high) standards
--was still sick when i arrived home. slept for days. family was shocked that i was actually that ill. i guess they thought i was being melodramatic about it or something
--went to philadelphia to see family/baby/pregnant cousin who still has yet to pop out that second kid. it was pretty ok. they have a nice house. i was still sick and fell asleep on the couch during the party. at least i looked better by then.
--i shipped 6 boxes from nola to ct via ups. 5 boxes were delivered may 25th. the last box didn't get here until something like june 11th. the box contained all the shoes i owned and a messanger bag. i had a genuine meltdown when i thought they were lost forever because it's damn hard to find nice shoes in size 12. i even started buying new shoes. then the box arrived so now i have all my old favorites plus some nice new ones, so yay!
--i have resumed work at Surgical Associates of Connecticut. i like it there; they are my friends. angela gave me a pretty necklace yesterday.
--i've begun working at St. Vincent's Medical Center (the hospital where my mom and the surgeons from my other job work). i work in the PACU (recovery room), but day before yesterday i worked in the OR. i got to see a surgery, which was sooooo cool. it was surgery on the corroded artery and the guy's neck was all cut open and blood squirted out and you could see the artery moving with the pulse and they took out plaque and it was like a tooth! inside the artery! i thought it was cool, anyway.
--i make muchos moneys at the hospital, so yay. i also worked 12hours on wednesday, which was tiring. gotta keep my eye on the dollar sign
--i bought my ticket to florence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm going to go pick it up from the travel agency today!!!!!!!!!!!! now i just need to finish up the last bits of paperwork before i send in my VISA and Corsi Singoli applications.
--i'm going to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey tomorrow! whee!!!
--i'm going to spend the week of 4th of july at my grandmother's in upstate new york. whee!
