Busy!
First off, I want to apologize to those of you that have written me comments in the last couple of days and I haven't gotten back to you. I will soon! Probably tonight! I had this big test on Monday and then last night I was hanging out with friends and today I've been busy as hell with meetings and dinners and other stuff. So, I will write back soon:-)
In other news, I had a financial aid dinner tonight with the people who are helping me financially get through medicine. It was a very cool dinner. My sponsors are so nice and sweet. One of them is an older woman who is so lovely and intelligent and has an amazing life story. Her current husband is suffering from Shingles right now...and it began only 2 months after they were married. So sad. She is a very strong woman though...very impressive. And the other two donors--the woman's son and his wife--were very nice and interested in me and not aloof or arrogant. It was great. I even was able to talk to a judge who was at my table who provided an interesting prospective on the California Youth Authority. AND best of all, I got fed for free....AND I got buzzed for free!! In fact, I'm still buzzed right now....this is not going to be good for me to get work done tonight...LOL.
