the summer "gas tax holiday"
so i initially thought this was a dumb idea. but i didn't quite understand the whole debate so i started to do some googling. (thanks google!) the more and more i look for pros on this topic, the less i find. in fact i was reading a lot of quotes from this site:

There are a lot of good points on the cons of the tax "holiday". And the mroe i think about it, the lower the price is the more people are going to drive, the bigger cars they are going to think about buying, and the more obnoxious our highways are going to be. instead of wasting your time proposing a tax that will, in the end, save americans $30 bucks, spend time thinking up greener ways to conserve and save energy and oil in the long run that is both cheap and convenient. thanks! *thumbs up*
