Today I take back what I have said about John Kerry. During the elections I thought he was a weak candidate (we had no other choice) and never really stood up to Bush and his policies. He did just the opposite today and took a stand. He made a written statement on why he supports a filibuster against Judge Alito. I'm glad too because back in 2003 he made a promise : "I am prepared to filibuster, if necessary, any Supreme Court nominee who would turn back the clock on a woman's right to choose or the constitutional right to privacy, on civil rights and individual liberties and on the laws protecting workers and the environment, The test is basic -- any person who thinks it's his or her job to push an extreme political agenda rather than to interpret the law should not be a Supreme Court justice." This is a start bit we still need more support. It had to start with someone though.

You can use what they have written or type your own message. I usually use their message for my talking points but put it in my own words to give it a personal touch.
The fire hasn't been lit yet but I'm starting to see sparks.
