(no subject)
so its official. im going to audition to be drum major. i looked at the competition and i am fine to have anybody else on that list to bedrum major. so ill feel ok if i dont get picked. i refuse to get worked up and expect this to much like ive done in the past about such things.
im also going to run for drama club secratary. its going to be a busy year if things go my way. it probaly wont seeing how things have gone so far.....
so has this year flonby fast or what? it seems like christmas was just over, and spring break should be coming up. funny how time works.
tonight i saw the joesph smith movie. and whoa... intense, i recomend it to everybody, mormon or not.
but more on the drum major thing, i have to memorize some music to conduct and get the time signatures down pat. for those that were in 4th hour band this year its called Four Dance Episodes, we played it after the marching season ended. and i never thought conducting would be this complicated. but this song has about 7 different time changes, it goes from 5/4 to 4/4 to 3/4 to 6/4 to 3/8 to 9/8 to 7/8 9for those that know music, you know what im talking about) but ya, im not even kidding, than i have to write a 2 page essay, which after my research essay, does not even sound hard.
well time fro bed, and i still have homework
