Sunflowers, sun, puppy love
I planted sunflowers in the backyard and I'm pleased to announce that of the 22 seeds in the little bag, 19 (86%) germinated. Of the 19 that germinated, I've so far killed 1 (5%). Now everyday is a long breezy warm California summer day (vs. those extremely cold dark wet depressing winter days). I rush home from work to play in the dirt with the new puppy (Maya) and plant things. I have filled every pot I own with cuttings or seeded things and whatnot. Okra is on the way. I'm not kidding when I say that I think this could be all I'll ever want from life.
