Takao's Restaurant

Okay, I just had write about this, because I'm about to die of sugar shock ;) Takao is the unbelievably adorable 3-year-old son of one of my Japanese neighbors here in the apartments. I went over there this afternoon to give him a little painting lesson (blowing paint around with straws and finger painting. Fun!) and then his parents invited me to a okonomiyaki restaurant with them. The food was great (bacon, cheese and potato okonomiyaki. Oishii desu...*sighs happily*) of course, but what was even better was that these great people bought me dinner in exchange for giving Takao an art lesson. They are so nice. But anyway, the whole way home in the car Takao kept singing about his imaginary restaurants, "Kuruma restaurant!" (car resturant), "Karatsu restaurant!", "Jitensha restaurant!" (bicycle), etc. So I went, "Takao no restuarant!" (Takao's restaurant), which the kid just loved and he launched into a new round of singing. I was reminded strongly of "Kyle, the Movie!" *winks at Usagi-chan*. SO cute!!

Okay, that was all, not much point to this post really.

cute kids, okonomiyaki, saga
