Victory is mine!
I finally have my iTunes library transferred to my new laptop.
...It only took me two and a half months. (Partly because I was waiting for the new external hard drive so I'd have a drive big enough to transfer all my library, and partly because I was just plain procrastinating.) Yeah, pathetic Maia is pathetic. I'm just excited I have it done now.
Got down to "have to do it now" because starting Wednesday I'm house-sitting for a family friend for a week, and she has this crazy-huge music collection that I'm totally going to want to upload some of.
Totally looking forward to the housesitting, incidentally. Besides the music, her house is in town so I can bike to work and to do stuff and see friends and all that (instead of out in the boonies where I live where I have to rely on my parents to drive me everywhere and we tend not to go back out once we get home in the evening), plus she has a hammock, and a hot tub, and a really huge bath, and lots of big comfy chairs, and a lovely garden. But what I'm looking forward to most of all is taking care of her four cats. They're adorable! I'm so much a cat person (but we can't have any because my dad's allergic, and my parents don't like having pets anyways).
