Nothing is more tragic than falling for someone who's already taken. Be it
a one-sided crush, an alt ship, or a brutal friendzone there's no denying
the sting of rejection is still sort of romantic in its own special way.

For this challenge you must icon an OTP that never got the official 'couple' status.

Earn extra points by selecting your level of difficulty. You may mix and match if you like even more of a challenge.
EASY (+1 point for incorporating)
Unrequited love makes you begin to wonder if OTP actually stands for Oh The Pain. Depict separation between the two characters.
MEDIUM (+2 points for incorporating)
When you ship it hard enough, you'll do anything to make it float. Incorporate a nautical theme or element in your icon to earn these bonus points.
HARD (+3 points for incorporating)
Through use of text (quote, lyrics, etc.) try to capture the reason why your OTP couldn't be together. Speculation is fine if the reason seems unclear.

■ Participating in the Color Challenge of the Month: +2 points per icon (up to four times total)
